I am going to TRY to be a better blogger!

I read everyone's blog and they are so creative and loyal to their blogs. I am so bad about blogging. I have decided to be a better blogger so I can use it as a little journal as Dax grows. I can't believe that Mr. Dax is already passed the 2 year mark. He is such a sweet little boy and very smart. He defiantly uses that towards his advantage.

Here are a few things with Dax:

- In April he started going to a new school. He was in a home based daycare but Don and I decided to switch him to Kids R Kids. He seems to really enjoy it. Ms. Cynthia is a great teacher
with a loving voice. Since it's a new environment he gets clinging when I drop him off. When we pull up to his school he gets excited and shouts, "My school Mommy!" I tell him he is a big boy and not to cry when Mommy leaves. He says, "OK Mommy and Mommy will be right back!" It's so cute and sweet. If I had it my way I would spend every minute with Dax. His new school has cameras and I watch him while I am work. It's great seeing what he is doing but makes me really miss him and want to be with him.

- Here lately Dax has really shown an interest in potty training himself. He will ask to use the potty. I have never pushed the issue on him because I did not want him to loose interest so I decided when he was ready he would let us know. Sure enough, he has let us know. He gets candy when he goes to the big boy potty. I have kept his Easter Eggs and have some candy in the eggs. Everytime he goes potty in the potty he gets an egg and runs around the house showing us he has candy and goes and sits down in the same place everytime and eats his candy.

- Talk Talk Talk! He is a talker just like his Mommy! He does not meet a stranger. Every morning on the way to school I have to roll down the window so he can say hi to the lady. The "lady" is the crossing guard. She is a sweet lady that gives him a wave back with a smile. Every where we go he says hi to anyone he sees. If you don't say hi back he will continue to say hi until you respond. If I put Dax in the car and someone walks by and I say hi he will get upset and tell me, "Momma, I say hi too!"

- I know he is only 2 but he has such a love for sports. Better watch out because the kid can hit a ball, throw, and working on catching a ball. He will take a football get down in a stance and say "Down set hike take a step back pat the ball and throw!"

- Dax has always been my perfect sleeper until he learned at 2 years old that he can climb out of his crib. We finally converted his crib into a toddler bed. He has not really totally adjusted. In the past, we would say our prayers give kisses and put him in bed. Now, he says, "Mommy lay with me!" I will read him a couple of books and tell him Mommy has to go night night. He cries for a few minutes but lays in his bed. He is a true angel!

Those are just a few highlights of Dax. Every minute is a joy with that kid!
